This is Jacques the Peacock made by the Lamaze company. I'm not sure exactly where he came from but Lamaze products are sold in just about every baby venue. I found Jacques this evening in a drawer when I was looking for something else along with another toy. The girls have been fighting over Jacques ever since. They have other similar looking toys but there is something about Jacques that the girls love. If one has him, the other looks on and tries to find an opportunity to snatch him away. Since I started writing this post, Leah has managed to get Jacques away from Leila. Leila is now fussing. I may need to hide Jacques until another Jacques can join the girls! :)
