One step forward, two steps back - Adoption update

I really look forward to posting about something besides the adoption! :)
So, today Josh and Z went to see the guy with the paper who wanted the form he couldn't have and he wasn't in this morning. They tried again this afternoon and he isn't in but they are going at 9am tomorrow. We are supposed to be in court 2 hours away at 9am so Josh called up the orphanage director and explained what was up and to see if we could see the judge tomorrow afternoon. After some very direct questions, she admitted that we don't actually see the judge tomorrow. Instead we see kind of a court clerk and he reviews all the paperwork and confirms it is there. Then he will send it up to the judge and we can see the judge next Wednesday. *SIGH*
So tomorrow we need to see the guy with the paper and the unrealistic expectation of our confidential form, convince him to just sign the paper, take that to another office where the person there has promised that she will type it up while we wait, then drive 2 hours to see the court clerk to review the paperwork.
While we are there we are going to have to get our FBI check back (They took the notarized translated copy AND the original) so we can get our homestudy released, we are requesting their medical records so we can get the girls a physical for the visa. THey are also due some vaccinations.
We also were told what we needed to get the girls' passports and we got it all and are turning it in tomorrow. They didn't ask for the adoption decree so we are thinking they may process the passport without it! At this point that would not surprise us!
So, if we get the FBI check then we can get our homestudy. If we get the girls' medical records and passports, we can get their physicals done. If we get the homestudy and physicals done we can start the visa process!
We hope tomorrow we can end up with the court clerk so we can get in with the judge next week.
