Friday morning I had oral surgery and was pretty out of it for the rest of the day. Coincidentally Andrew's school had the awards assembly for the science fair and I missed all the texts sent to me about it. My neice came by that afternoon to check on me and told me Andrew had won first place! I was quite surprised! He was quite excited. I was a mean mom and made him do all the work that he could possibly do on the project and if I had to do certain parts, (like make the letters for the display board) then I made him sit with me while I did it.
Now he qualifies for regionals but it's an all day affair in March. I'm trying to work out childcare for the girls before I determine if he can go. He wants to go, but I can't take the girls. Hopefully that will work out. Here is a picture of Andrew with his project and his first place medal:
