The night before we left for Disney Andrew received his Green belt as well as 3 academic stars for outstanding academic performance. Green belt is an exciting step because they can begin sparring in class. So, in addition to the belt and the stars, Andrew got a bag full of protective gear. He was driving me crazy trying to take out all of his gear a home so I made a rule that the gear stays in the bag unless he is at the school or sparring with Dad. He attended his first class as a Green belt last night and had a blast. Here are a few pictures from the night of th ceremony.
The first is when they remove his old belt and present the new belt. The next is one with his instructor and the last is Andrew with his friend, M. M's mom and I have become good friends because we have so much in common. I'm glad I've had the opportunity to meet this sweet family.
