Disney Day 1

Well, we had a good trip. We left on a Saturday and I decided I could drive to Gainesville for the day. It was a long trip and lots of snacks were turned to crumbs in the seats, floorboard, etc but the kids all traveled well. We made it in time for dinner, had a nice sit down meal and went to bed. We got a suite so that the kids could sleep in a separate part of the room (behind a closed door). It was so nice to have one last night of sleep without the kids in the same room!
The next morning we got up bright and early and I managed to drop a brand new bottle of department store foundation on the bathroom floor. It shattered and I ended up with foundation on my legs. *SIGH* We had breakfast and headed to Disney. We made GREAT time and found ourselves at he resort by 10am. I told my neice that we had to stop by Downtown Disney to see if we qualified for a certain military ticket (the rules were a bit unclear) and if not, we had to go to Shades of Green and get the ticket I KNEW we qualified for.
We got to Downtown Disney and it turns out that we DID qualify for the better deal! This also gave us FIVE days in the parks so that was a bonus. The original plan was just to do Magic Kingdom and Future world part of Epcot. However with this ticket I told her we could go to Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom that day. She let Andrew choose and he chose Hollywood Studios.
We headed back to our resort for lunch and to get settled in our room. We caught Leah trying to change K's Pooh's diaper. :) K also took some pictures of the two year old temper tantrums as well! Thanks, K! :) The kids also enjoyed the towel animals left behind by mousekeeping.
After that we headed on to Hollywood Studios. My neice, K, and I both wanted to ride the Rockin' Rollercoaster and I wanted to do the Tower of Terror. Disney has a baby swap feature where you go to the line with the babies and they give you a special pass to ride it later. One person (in this case, K) waits in line and rides the ride and when she's done the other person (me) and up to two more people can ride the ride using the fast pass line. When we used it on other rides, Andrew would ride with K and then again with me so he got to ride ride more than once. Andrew wasn't interested in Rockin Rollercoaster so K went while I waited with the kids and then I went while she waited. I LOVED Rockin Rollercoaster! Tower of Terror was great as well, but I'd done that before.
We also took the kids to the Playhouse Disney attraction which is basically a show geared towards preschoolers highlighting popular toddler shows on the Disney channel.
Kathryn and Andrew also opted to stand in the 100 minute line for Toy Story Mania. We rode it in May and it IS a good ride but the girls were not going to wait 100 minutes. While waiting for K and Andrew to ride the rides I was able to look in different stores, enjoy some yummy snacks (I had a frozen chocolate covered banana for the first time - oh so good!). We went hope a little early and had dinner at our resort because we knew we had to get an early start the next morning. We had breakfast reservations with Pooh and friends in Magic Kingdom.
When we got to the resort our grocery order had arrived. We did an order with a local online grocery to have some necessities in our room such as milk, bottled water, toddler snacks, etc. My neice really loves Barnum's Animal Crackers. I found a large bag and ordered them as well. For some reason they were not in the bag so I called garden grocer and they said they would deliver them the next day.
