Black Friday

With one exception at the PX in Japan, I've never done a Black Friday sale right when the doors open. However, today I wanted a tv. I wanted to have the ability to watch my online/itunes shows on my tv but all of the ones in my house are too old to do that. So, I asked Josh for a Flat Screen tv for Christmas. However, since he's in Iraq, it's my job to find the tv. :)
I saw the one I wanted and knew I had to get to the store early. The doors opened at 5am. I got there at 3:30am and went to where the TVs were going to be. They had the area roped off and handed me ticket #23. I had a seat on the floor next to my cart and for the next hour and a half surfed the net on my iPhone. They had 27 tvs so I got lucky. I crawled back into my bed at 5:44am.
It was worth it to me but I don't plan on doing this every year.
