I bought some potty training books for the girls. I'm a bit picky about what I like. I prefer the general go potty and wash your hands and if you happen to mention "peepee" and "poopoo" ok, but not too much. I managed to settle on two. One is called "Go, Girl! Go Potty!" and is really cute b/c each page has a different zoo animal trying to sit on the potty and it says "Does a Zebra sit on the potty?" then you lift the flap and it says "No, no. A Zebra doesn't sit on the potty" the book goes on until it gets to the little girl and well, you can assume the rest.
Another one has pictures of little girls (they are VERY modest though) sitting on their potties, trying to train their teddy bears, picking out panties, etc. Well, one day Leah was looking at the book and kept saying "Momma! Lala!" I was in the middle of something so it took me a bit to catch on that she was trying to show me something. I looked and there was a little girl in the book that looks a LOT like the girls. Leah calls Leila "Lala." What I thought was interesting was that she didn't see HER in the picture but only her sister. Leila only see "Leah" in the picture. I wonder if they really get how identical in appearance they are???
Here is a picture from the book:

I wonder if they think they look alike. One of my good friends up here has identical girls. I asked her recently if they can identify who a picture is and she said they always get it correct. Show your girls a picture and ask them who it is and see if they say the other's name or if they say me for their own. I'd be curious to know if they can tell the difference.
They are so darling....so if they do, they think they are pretty :)
It's so fun to watch them grow up on your blog! :)
They probably don't realize it. They spend much more time looking at the other sister than looking at themselves in a mirror. That picture does look remarkably like them.
