I've been trying to help the girls get the hang of drinking from a straw. Andrew did it quite early and it was so convenient not to have to carry sippy cups everywhere. So the first time we tried at McDonald's I put Hi-C Orange in the cup to make them WANT to drink from the straw. It was success and they get sooooooooooo mad when the cup is empty! I carry a swiss army knife and cut the straw shorter so when they won't be as tempted to turn the cup up and have it spill. I also only fill the cup up halfway.
ANYWAY, we went today and I snapped a few pictures. I liked the one of Leila feeding her beanie baby puppy a french fry.
I've been putting the girls' hair up in piggy tails and today S did them for me. Leila has pink bows and Leah has the blue-green bows.
Enjoy!

Such beautiful children you have. These pictures are priceless. Thanks for sharing them! :) samm
Cute pictures! Leila is such a good little mommy, feeding her puppy. It's funny how girls just naturally like to take care of things. Sara has already started to rock her baby dolls and pat them on the back.
Cameron learned to drink from a straw early - 9 months I think. We got him those kids' cups that have the pop-out straw. It took him much longer to master a regular sippy. He couldn't figure out how to tip it up. I think it's b/c he rarely used a bottle.
