Back in the day when I would scrapbook several pages a week I heard of an idea involving your purse. What you do is dump out the contents of your purse, take a picture, and then scrapbook about it. Supposedly the contents of your purse say a lot about you.
Well, I decided I would do it blog style. So I took my picture, I'll put it below, blog about it and tag some friends. :) Here goes:
Well, I decided I would do it blog style. So I took my picture, I'll put it below, blog about it and tag some friends. :) Here goes:

This is all of the contents of my purse. Included are the following items:
1) iPhone - I LOVE my iPhone. I can literally be anywhere and Josh can text me, call me, instant message me or e-mail me. That is one thing that has made this deployment easier. It's nice to know I'll never miss him contacting me.
2) Deodorant - yes, I'm weird but with a heat index that gets up to 109, I like NOT stinking!
3) Teeth - In the little blue and orange boxes are 6 teeth. They were from when Andrew had his teeth pulled. I meant to take them out but I've been a bit busy . . . They are now safely tucked away!
4) Keys - I have my little Vera Bradley coin purse that holds the more important items that I need frequently (like my military ID when I lived on base and had to present it each time I approached the base). I have my Swiss Army Knife and those little scissors come in handy a LOT with kids!!! I have my bright colored monogrammed keychain which helps me find my keys in my purse in a hurry. Finally I hve 8 of those little club cards on my keychain for various stores (such as Books a MIllion, Borders, New York and Company, etc).
5) Two board books - I love how Chic-fil-a gives board books for the toddler toys. I try to keep a couple in my purse for emergency entertainment. :)
6) Two beanie babies - these were from our trip to McDonald's and have been added to the toybox at home.
7) Candy - I'm a mean mom. If Andrew gets candy I usually confiscate it and tell him he can have it after the next meal. Unfortunately, both he and I forget about it! So the poor kid gets candy and rarely gets to eat it because we both forget it's in my purse!
8) Lightbulb - it's hard to see, but it's to the right of the candy. Yeah it's weird. It's a nightlight lightbulb and I put it in my purse so I could get a new one on my next shopping trip. That was at least 3 months ago . . . :)
9) Chapstick - That's Andrew's :)
10) Soy Milk Coupons - Andrew can only have soy milk. I put the coupons in my purse (over a month ago) to use when I got more soy milk.
11) Magnets - They are in a ziploc bag. I teach the RS lesson at church once a month and use the magnets to hold up my visual aids. I just leave them in the bag in my purse so I always have them.
12) Business card holder -it's silver but it's hard to see. It's next to the soy milk coupons. I get cards made with all of our information on them everytime we move. You can get business cards for FREE at vistaprint.com. You only pay shipping. It is so nice to have the cards when I meet new people, forget where I currently live, etc. :)
13) Little People - I honestly have no idea how this thing got in my purse. :)
14) Wallet - I think this is self explanatory.
15) 3 pairs of Sunglasses - One pair fits on my glasses magnetically. The other two I wear when I'm wearing my contacts. I have no explanation for why I have two pair :)
16) Eye drops - for my contacts
17) Ibuprofen - Look at my crazy life. Need I say more? :)
18) Eyeglass wipe - It's a little wipe to clean my glasses
19) Little orange post it notes - I use them when I'm reading and want to come back to a certain page. I don't know how they ended up in my purse. I must have been reading away from home and put the post-its in my purse.
20) Purell hand sanitizer - Twin toddlers and an adventurous 7 year old boy. Enough said.
21) Two highlighters, a pen and an pencil - I always try to have a pen. I think the pencil was because I was practicing some math problems trying to build up my math skills to add Math to my teaching certifications. The highlighters? Who knows?
22) Money - I have a really bad habit of just shoving my change in my purse (instead of my wallet) because I have so much on my mind when I'm out and about. I go through and gather the paper money a few times a week. When my purse starts to feel heavy, I collect the coins. Today it was 11 quarters, 22 pennies, 14 dimes and 6 nickels. No wonder it was so heavy!!! :)

Anyone reading this! :)
