So, in case you are totally oblivious to your surroundings I changed the layout here. Those are actually our shoes. I wanted to completely design the entire layout using html, etc but between grad school and motherhood time to learn how to do blog layouts isn't available.
I have an older version of Photoshop and was planning to upgrade to the newest version but I got a new computer this week (YAY!) and it came with Corel's Paint Shop Pro trial version and I LOVE it! In my opinion it is much more user friendly for editing photos than Adobe's Photoshop. So, I put Paint shop on my mother's day wish list. :)
I started out wanting to change the layout but had no idea what direction I wanted to go. I wanted (and still want to!) to incorporate a photo of each of us into the layout. So I started looking through photos on the internet for ideas and saw some patriotic/military pictures and it got me thinking. Then I grabbed my camera and our shoes and started snapping. :) Andrew was a little concerned as to why I was photographing our shoes. :)
So I thought about using the photograph for a banner at the top of the blog but it evolved into the picture with our blog title, etc. I eventually want to design my own layout entirely but, again, I need some time to teach myself how to do it all, etc.
For now, I'll just use blogspots, black layout with my picture. :)

I like the shoe picture! Very cool!
I like your new layout. I wish I were more adventurous and willing to try learning a new computer language,but I am not. I think you are so on top of it. Keep up the good work, in all you do, you are great!
